Condominium Rental terms

| The rental terms for any condominium are ultimately decided by the property owner or landlord however the following terms are considered to be the industry standard in Thailand. Please be aware that there may be different terms for some properties and a potential tenant should always have the opportunity to go over the rental agreement with the landlord or representative of the property owner.
Long Term Condominium Rentals (6 months to 1 Year and over)
The standard rental contract is valid for the duration a 1 year period. Some condos are also available for a 6 month let however this may be at a slightly higher rate than the 1 year option.
Short Term Rental Condominiums (Daily to monthly)
A short term rental contract is usually on a weekly or monthly basis and sometimes at a daily rate. These kinds of rentals are much less available than longer terms and tenants should expect to pay higher rental rates.
Deposits & Terms
A security deposit is required before moving into a new condominium. This is to be held by the property owner or their representative until the expiration of the contract. Upon the property having been checked to be free of damages and outstanding bills, the deposit is to be returned in full. The standard “move in” payment is 2 month's deposit and the first 1st month’s rent in advance.
