Renowned for its vibrant night life, shopping and enormous verity of restaurants, Pattaya has something for everybody. With so much on offer the city has become one of Thailand’s most popular destinations for tourists and domestic visitors alike. Many Bangkok residents have weekend homes in Pattaya to escape the hustle and bustle of big city life and with new highways and rail links planed, commuting is getting easier and easier.
Only minutes away from the city centre visitors can enjoy the beaches in Jomtien or go further down the coast to the fishing village at Bang Saray. The East side and outskirts of Pattaya are home to various activities including horse riding, go karting, golfing, water sports, motor racing circuits, flying, RC racing, paintballing, skydiving, off-roading and countless other amusements for all the family.
Thailand has some of the world most exotic dishes and Pattaya in particular boasts every kind of restaurant from authentic Thai food to fine dining and international cuisine. Pattaya also has many excellent seafood restaurants offering picturesque bay views.

| Pattaya is well known as a party town and the night life is bouncing seven days a week. There are various venues dotted around the town including dance clubs, live music, traditional pubs, cabaret shows and even more exotic settings. The city starts to pick up at around 6-7pm and caries on well into the early hours and during holidays and special events can get quite hectic.
There are many options for shopping from state of the art shopping malls to bustling market stalls, some great bargains can be found and prices can often be negotiated. Although most currencies will be accepted it is always best to use the local currency (Thai Baht).

Transport around town can be found in abundance, bus and taxi routes cover all the main areas and motorbike taxis and Tuk Tuks can also be hired for the more adventurous.
Central Pattaya - The heart of the city is home to multi story shopping malls, cinemas, restaurants, entertainment venues, and countless shops and stores.
Walking Street - Pattaya’s entertainment hot spot. Walking Street is packed with bars, clubs and restaurants. Lots of shops and stalls selling all kind of goods. This area can get very busy especially on holidays and during special events.
Jomtien - Only a few minutes away from Pattaya City, Jomtien is more relaxed than its energetic neighbour. Popular for its beaches and water sports, great for days out in the sun.
East Pattaya & Mabprachan - Over Sukhumvit road is Pattaya’s countryside. This area is very quiet compared to the city although there are plenty of restaurants, bars, sports activities and gyms. Further afield, the Mabprachan lake area provides fishing, boating and horse riding. There are also several international standard Golf courses located on this side of Pattaya.
Siracha - Located to the North of Pattaya, Siracha is a quiet seaside town. Activities here include shopping malls, Golf courses and many unusual shops that are not found in the city.
Bang Saray - This area was built around a small fishing village with tranquil and picturesque scenery, tropical gardens and quant seafront restaurants with dishes fresh from the sea.
